Don't you know that I am the Prince of Peace? Philippians 4, 7 is what I want you to put there.

Philippians 4, 7. where St. Paul tells us that Jesus gives us a peace that passes all understanding and brings your heart and guards your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus.

Now, I can tell you for all the people I know who have gone deeper and deeper into the divine will, the peace goes deeper and deeper and deeper.

It's fascinating to see it.

It's beautiful.

It's one of the signs that a person is actually going deeper into the divine will.

So I am the Prince of Peace.

And the first thing I recommend is that you do not disturb the peace of the heart.

Now, heart is used here in the biblical sense, not in a modern sense.

In a modern sense, we use the heart as a symbol of love.

In the Bible, the heart means your person, your innermost being.

So that's your interior.

When in prayer, you are not able to recollect yourself.

I do not want you to think of this or that.

Our problem is that we try to rationalize why is it happening and how do I get myself here and all the rest of it, how it is or how it's not.

Because in doing so, you yourself, my book says call the distraction.

We would say cause, cause the distraction.

Instead, when you find yourself in that state, the first thing you do is humble yourself.

Look how simple it is to deal with it.

He says, don't rationalize it.

All the modern stuff that we're told to do, he says, no, no, no, no, no, don't do that.

Humble yourself before God and open up to him and he'll do everything.

Isn't that fantastic? That's 2 Peter 5, 9.
