And today I want to talk about maybe the other side of the equation, if you want to think about it that way, which is making more money.

How do you actually generate the income that you are then going to manage? So the way I kind of jokingly talked about it was like last time we talked a little bit about the eating your vegetables, right? The very important, responsible thing to do of minding your money and building that money ritual practice.

And today we're going to get into a little bit of the sugary stuff, right? Like the allure, I think, of building your own fluid career is potentially having more control and having more direct impact on your income.

I think that's part of the appeal to a lot of people who are drawn to self-employment and essentially a fluid career.


Because you might have a part-time job, you might have retainers, you might have contracts, you might have kind of one-off clients.

But the whole idea of a fluid career is that you have a portfolio of different work and you're not necessarily just holding down one traditional nine-to-five job.


So I definitely don't want to say that you can't have a fluid career with the traditional nine to five.


It's going to be changing, right? So you might have a W-2 kind of situation now and And in six months, it might be something different.

And we need to be a little bit more on our toes and agile and getting ready to be diversified and adaptable in order to have a resilient, flourishing career.
