But that seems that Amy Hood is actually going to, uh, I think Amy Hood, who is a great CFO, is going to stretch this as much as humanly possible.

I think it's clear that they understand that a lot of the faults and the failures of Xbox right now or that were happening last year up until this year, which is why they made a generational change, in my opinion, in leadership, is because of their oversight.

And I hate to say Sony is broke, but it looks like Sony is penny pinching at the wrong time.

And we kind of said this about Xbox to some extent when it came time for Amy Hood and Satya trying to cash in or get the return on investment as far as Activision.

That kind of hurt the brand.

They, they made a lot of mistakes, and I don't necessarily blame them fully, 'cause we all know that the, that-- some, some of the decisions, especially with the no red lines thing, came the way of upstairs.

Uh, Amy Hood, and Crispy said it the other day, and I, I, well, I listened to the, uh, one of the videos I did.

I like to listen to them simply because I wanna make sure that I'm not making mistakes in how I'm doing the video editing, how it sounds like it's just one thing.

And Crispy Bomb said that he, he literally said it in one of the videos that Amy Hood s- is solely responsible for nearly tanking Xbox.

He's right when he said that.

Her decision-making, I, I, I've said it, I said it in the video, literally the same video.

Earlier this year, Microsoft walked away from about two gigawatts of planned US and European projects.

Then Amy Hood said capacity would stay tight through twenty twenty-six.

Forecasting demand at this scale is apparently a contact sport.

And and so We went through a really tough period of the transition to the cloud and ultimately, and I've not talked about this publicly very much, when Satya became the CEO, I got asked to do something different and I was a little bit shocked by that.

So I went and ran corporate strategy for Amy Hood, our CFO, who is outstanding gave me a new outside in way of thinking of the company, but also, uh, on the weekends and evenings, I was hacking with open source.

I was developing software again, and I agreed to do this for a year, partly because it was super interesting, but partly I thought, okay, you know, my time at Microsoft might be done.

Uh, and, you know, let me think about, you know, if there's something else and then, um, you know, I got an email about a year later from Satya and I, we worked together on, you know, potential acquisitions and a bunch of stuff and everybody was really great, but it was, you know, I was gonna, I had a leg and a foot out the door and he sent me a note that said, SharePoint needs you back, be in my office at nine on Monday morning.

They're right.

In the end, I come to praise Microsoft CFO Amy Hood, not bury her.
