Send us Fan Mail This week Aram and Gabbi sit down with Trent Mobley — Associate Certified Entomologist, 14 years in the bug business, and founder of Berner Pest Solutions, a three-time Best of…
Yeah, I mean, that brings up, in your studies, did you find any, like, really interesting bugs? Like, was there, like, any kind of situations where, like, that's, like, you give a bug some props for being so cool and, like, you know, doing the destructive things and crawling, I don't know.
Like, I'm sure you get some bright colored somethings between Florida and here and how sloppy it is.
I always tell this story that, so I'm sure you guys are probably familiar with the house centipedes that we have here.
And so when I came and I took my state exam here, this isn't necessarily related to the ACE.
When I took my state exam here and like they make you, they basically put out a bunch of different insects and varying conditions, we'll say, because that's usually how a customer prevents an issue to us.
It's like, hey, can you identify whatever this is? This is what I'm dealing with.
But when I saw that is that that looks like a centipede but that looks like no centipede I have ever seen in my life
because the legs were just like sticking out like they're super long and I'm just like what on earth and then to see those things in action now like going to a customer's home and if we're treating like the crevice like along where the soil meets the foundation of a house you spray that like crevice and you'll just have like house centipedes just like running at you and that's It's definitely not like anything.
You know, obviously Florida has some crazy stuff down there that we don't necessarily deal with here, but it's like, that's the devil I knew.
