Morning Focus Commemorates The 25th Anniversary Of 9/11

Today marks 25 years since the attacks of September 11th, 2001, a day that changed New York, the United States and the world forever. Almost 3,000 people lost their lives, while countless others were left dealing with the consequences in the years that followed. This morning, we remembered that day through the experiences of two people with a very personal connection to the events. Maureen O’Neill Regan, President of the New York Clare Association, spent a year involved in the rescue and recovery operation at Ground Zero. And Brian Connolly, who was a member of the NYFD on 9/11 and later joined the NYPD. We heard their memories of that extraordinary day, the years that followed, and their thoughts on the legacy of 9/11 a quarter of a century on.
