Anyway, so new school year, new priorities as we look at that.

Let's talk about some of the new district priorities.

We just... passed in June our new strategic plan.

That's

right.

And with new strategic plan comes new priorities.

right.

We're really excited about our new strategic plan.

The board approved it last month and will implement it officially in July.

It really is a vision for the next five years of laying out what we hope to accomplish.

I want to say thanks to the board and to all the stakeholders who really gave some meaningful input on that.

You know, there's a big document, there's a lot of things in there, but I'd really kind of summarize it down to making sure our students continue to grow academically, making sure they have those non-academic supports that we have, making sure that our educators are the best educators they can be, that they're engaged, that they're well-trained, And then just making sure that our parents are engaged.

Those are the big pieces that we're going to continue to focus on to make sure that we provide the best education possible here in Murfreesboro City.

I love that.

And I love the fact that when you look at our plan, you know what it is.

You know where those priorities lie.

And when we talk about the stakeholders who had input, we had parents to give us input.

We had our community members, our school board, our leadership.

It really does make for a really good plan.

Yeah.

And it's movement too.

I'm so sorry to cut you off there, but it's not just something that we say we're going to do in the next five years.

We're going to be looking at it and actually keeping it updated every year as well.
