Yeah
Yeah.
I think, I think it's recorded, it's recorded locally though-
...
so afterwards he'll, he'll be able to-
Catch up, yeah.
I was, I mean, I, I don't, I, I guess we can, can just keep chatting while we wait for Matt to rejoin.
But I was, I was kinda surprised by the number of people I spoke to at the, at, at, well, actually both, both the Prague conference and the Nairobi conference that that's kind of, kind of familiar with, with Fedi, the, the, the, the wallet app, but have no idea what E-cash is or that E-cash actually, you know, predates Bitcoin and that it was, it was something that was kind of picked up by Bitcoiners and applied in a way that the, the, the creator did not maybe foresee, well, obviously didn't foresee when he, when he came up with this idea.
Um, and it's, that's why I said I spent more time talking about this than, than my own project at, at, at the conference because there's, I mean, outside of a small sort of group of people that are, you know, obsessive with this type of stuff, there's, there's, there's a lot of people, like I, it, it, it needed some explaining of what exactly is E-cash and, and, and where does it come from and so on.

I mean, the question is do we really need, uh, users or people to understand what is E-cash? Like for the longest time, my philosophy has been that if we don't have to explain, we shouldn't.

Like, if it just works and people can just use Fedimint apps as a more convenient way of interacting with Bitcoin, then that should be good enough, and we don't have to bother them with, "Hey, there's this new concept, E-cash.

I just sent some, uh, E-cash notes on BitMes- uh, BitChat, and whoever claims it first, they get the sats.

And I want to see how many people will get online with BitChat, and that's something u-unique to E-cash.
