So this morning, I was in the Book of John, and I was specifically reading John 6.
I w- I write a daily study, and we, we do it in the Band app every day, and it's just been amazing.
It wasn't about Him, you know, gra- satisfying the desires of His flesh, His human desires, none of that.
His whole assignment was to come down from heaven to do the will of God, not to do His will.
And I could hear in the Spirit, the Lord saying, "Sherry, go tell them about their will.
What is your personal responsibility? And it opens up with being a living sacrifice to God.
"And so dear brothers and sisters, [clears throat] I plead with you, give your bodies to God because y- because of all He has done for you.
Let your bodies, let them be a living and holy sacrifice, the kind He will find acceptable.
Don't copy the behaviors and the customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think, and then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good, and pleasing, and perfect." And so as I'm staring at this scripture right now, I'm just gonna share with you what the Holy Spirit is saying to me.
