This One’s a Gem!

So I'm curious then, like lesson planning, using AI for a teacher lesson plan.

What do you know about this? And you're truly teaching me because I'm so nerdy.

Like it kind of scares me to think about lesson planning using AI.

Yeah.

So if anybody out there listening has listened to our previous episodes about artificial intelligence, I mean, we've got a few really outdated conversations about AI, but my opinion hasn't changed all that much.

Like in the very beginning, I was very skeptical.

I find it kind of creepy.

I have come to, I haven't changed on that.

I think AI is totally creepy and, um, And so I always approach it with caution.

So that's where I'm at.

That hasn't changed at all.

But I have since used it for some things.

And I do work with teachers and using artificial intelligence programs that are helpful to teachers.

Well, the tools have

evolved.

This is where I couldn't keep up.

So the

tools evolved faster than, you know, I was looking at lesson planning things.

And so that's where like, where are we now is where I'm super curious as everyone's planning out their year.

Am I what? I would say like a year and a half.

year and a half-ish ago, two years ago, Magic School AI was really kind of my go-to.

I don't know if you've used that at all, but Magic School AI, I love the way that it could be used for intervention.

You know, my lens is always student support, right? So using it for intervention, finding ways to differentiate lessons and universally design things creates really great rubrics.

So there are things about Magic School AI that I really liked.

But one thing that I found that I have gone down a rabbit hole with and had a lot of fun with actually has been the Google Notebook.
