Longing for the Lounge

And so gearing up for all the things in the fall, but busy summer too.

Yeah.

I had a little bit of a low key summer, but like back in May, I'm going to go like rewind back to May.

I kind of went down a research rabbit hole.

So I did like my, I did my really hard thinky stuff early in the summer.

And then I thought about it all summer and I ended up fine.

So the research rabbit hole I went down, I found this article one day and it was called like how schools exclude.

You know, a lot of my work is, you know, inclusion based and, you know, kids with disabilities.

So I find this article and I like totally just blew my mind.

And then I got to

do an episode on that.

So just hold that thought.

That can be an episode.

Well, I ended up creating an entire leadership seminar around it.

So now I have a four-part seminar because I went to the references page and then I started reading the articles that fed the research for this article.

And it just so it really fed a lot of what I thought about what I worked on over the summer.

But then I put that down.

Oh, I had also written.

So and then the other like hard thinking thing that I had been doing in the spring, I wrote a report for the National Catholic Partnership on Disability.

We had collected a bunch of data over the last couple of years.

And I finally put it together into a report to kind of give us the state of disability.

inclusion of kids with disabilities in Catholic schools.

It's an interesting snapshot.

We make some suggestions, but that's out there now.

Yes, it's very cool.
