Ainagul AmatbekovaGuestLegen KwandikovHostPeter, I don't know how about you, but I feel quite happy that I'm not in Bishkek right now because Kyrgyz capital is a very busy place these days.
The first one, and we're going to discuss it, is the anniversary of Shanghai Corporation Organization.
And the second event, which I'm actually sure I feel sad that I don't attend it, is World Nomad Games.
And when I talk to people from Kyrgyzstan, they feel quite excited, mostly about World Nomad Games.
But what I miss here is this decentralized flavor, right? And maybe you can fill us in and say why this event is important for our region.
By the way, on the subject of the World Nomad Games, I would invite people, and I'll also include a link to that in the notes, to check out an article that was written by a former intern of ours, Kasia Nixon, talking about the World Nomad Games and the the, let's say, the branding aspect of that whole thing.
So the World Nomad Games, for people who don't know, it's kind of a Central Asian traditional sports Olympics, right? So anyway, that is, as you say, going on in parallel with the SCO.
And so for Bishkek to be hosting this is indeed a matter of great prestige, and they've been absolutely pulling out all the stops to ensure security.
So I guess school children, I suspect, are quite happy about the SCO because the start of school has been delayed until the middle of September.
