What is happening to youth civic engagement in Kyrgyzstan?
18:46
Yeah, basically, as you mentioned at the beginning and which was the main idea.
18:52
behind launching this research project was the perception of youth activism in Kyrgyzstan.
18:58
A lot of people, even in the civic space, were claiming, were assuming that young people are super disengaged these days super passive.
19:10
And a lot of people were linking this to the laws that were introduced in Kyrgyzstan in the last few years that limit the civic space in Kyrgyzstan in general.
19:22
And while we were just reflecting as a team, we were just thinking you know, monitoring, observing different youth movements around the world, especially like in the Cessna region, for example.
19:35
And the question, and also we are ourselves are young people that are still engaged with the civic life, right? And I am a civic activist myself.
