The FBI says it thwarted a ploy by a young man who had pledged loyalty to ISIS and planned to shoot up the Mall of America in Minnesota.
Eighteen-year-old Sheikh Duhin Mohamed was charged with obtaining a firearm with intent to commit terrorism.
In a message to an FBI informant, he said he hoped to kill as many as 60 people because he believed the owners of the Mall of America are Jewish.
It is of more than passing interest that his parents tried to stop the FBI from talking to him.
Kudos for the FBI for taking down this guy before he murdered dozens of innocents.
