Michael Bluestein of FOREIGNER talks about his mother who is a accomplished author of historial literature and how he was brought up in a very talented family.
Recently, I had a chance to talk to foreigner keyboardist Michael Bluestein concerning celebrating the 50th anniversary of Foreigner on Tour as they're coming to the Hilliard Center on October 14th.
And I talked about his mother, who's an author of children's books.
And what's the latest going on with her?
That's true.
I'm really glad you brought that up.
Yes, she's actually a published novelist.
It's pretty, you know, I may be biased, but I really passed this book on to a lot of people.
And across the board, people have loved it.
It's a pretty epic novel, which, you know, overlaps with some historical Italian figures like Botticelli and, you know, da Vinci.
Pretty amazing novel.
So yes, she does that.
She does a lot of short stories.
I grew up in a pretty creative household with her.
She was always creating stuff.
She's a visual artist, too.
In fact, she did all the illustrations in her own novel, too.
So yeah, I've got a pretty amazing mom.
