Transformation evolves through the ability to be genuinely authentic and radically honest.
Francoise MastroianniHostI am a woman of faith, and I do bring up scripture in my, um, podcast, and here is one from John 15:13: "Greater love has no one than this, to lay down one's life for one's friend." In Matthew 22, the verse 39, we are commanded to love one another as we love ourselves.
It's not easy to love others when they are clearly being obstinate, unloving, and unforgivable.
And we certainly have it in us to be the same way, yet it's only through God's grace that we can love in the way that He desires for us.
"I beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God.
Be patient with each other, making allowances for each other's faults because of your love." That's in Ephesians 4, verses 1 through 3.
That is what I would say is radical love, a shift in transformation to love our neighbor as we love ourselves.
We can only genuinely love others when we accept God's love for ourselves.
Though it is too great to understand fully, then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God," Ephesians 3:19.
I am so grateful for that, that He sees me through the blood of Christ, what Jesus did for us on the Chri- on the cross.
Only because of the work at the cross can we experience the greatness of His love that empowers us to love and forgive o- ourselves.
They wander from the life God gives because they have shut their minds and hardened their hearts against Him.
We have unlimited resources and a mighty and fearless inner strength that comes from the power of God.
We are told not to despair, not to give up, because He purchased our freedom and because He showered kindness on us and forgives our sins.
We are challenged in every direction of our lives to put on and practice using this incredible gift of love we've been given.
