We're back with another case study to help a Bot Lane Academy member who is stuck in Emerald after playing 2000+ games this season!
So this is Aetherstar.
Um, they are Emerald four.
Peaked Emerald one this season.
Played the game since 2014.
It looks like had a brief stint all the way up in Diamond season six.
The biggest thing that stands out to us immediately is the number of games played.
Yeah.
2,300 games with a dead on 50% win rate.
So this is a absolute hard-stuck Emerald player bouncing between Emerald one it seems all the way down to Emerald four.
Yep.
And the system is working, right? This player is an Emerald four player.
The system has well and truly put them there to stay.
Yeah.
Right? So, you know, they do have a lot of games on Ashe and Caitlyn as well but again, Yunara, Lucian really jump out.
Mm-hmm.
Both very similar archetypes as well, right? Low, m- right, mid to low range AD carries that have a q- quite similar-ish identity for the most part.
Um, and yeah, I mean stats wise dead on 50% win rate with Lucian and 51% win rate with Yunara.
Yeah.
And we're not like Stat Andys in the podcast either when we're gonna look at like the CS per minute and the KDs and all that stuff, but on the surface there's no major red flags I would say.
Like these are, these are very normal score lines and very normal CS scores that you would see for, for any player around this rank and even, even h- much higher than this as well so.
So I did have a bit of an extensive chat with this guy because I wanted to know what we were getting ourselves into for this case study.
