I feel like that's got to take a lot of courage because, you know, you're literally holding up a mirror to yourself and, you know, for anybody to poke a hole and, you know, oh, well, you know, I'm looking around in your medical chart and it looks like this is wrong.

But having worked before in a health system, I feel like I'm like, oh, yeah, I know what my A1C is.

I think the coolest way and I like the term health interested and health aware.

I think the coolest way to frame like health in such a like, I don't know, it's just such a subjective word because there's so many fads and trends that come and go, whether it's creatine or high fat or low fat or HIIT workouts or zone two training.

I mean like ranch dressing, vinaigrette, like all these things that have come and gone, milk, not milk, vegan, carnivore.

It's like amidst all this stuff that gets bombarded at us throughout the past, you know, forever, but you know, from my experience, 90s, 2000s and now, I think a really cool way to understand health as for a longevity perspective is the following statistic.

People over age 50 that are non-smokers, 80% of them die from four things, Americans.

Cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes or metabolic dysfunction, and then cancer, various cancers, and then Alzheimer's, dementia, or neurodegenerative disease.

So in my mind, I'm like, how do I optimize in these four categories or drive down my risk if I'm on the 20th percentile? How do I get to the 88, 90, 95, like the top percentile in all those categories? That's how I view it.

It's like, okay, your portfolio is 60% likely to achieve the outcome you want it to by X age.

view your health span and your longevity, not necessarily how good your years are now, but the length of your years, I view it in the same way alongside your wealth.
