Of course, you CAN literally go home again. They mean figuratively. As in, one can never recapture the feelings of youth even if one returns to the place of childhood rearing. Such is the case for Junie, who finds herself facing past demons and struggling greatly, as we all do, with the word “rearing.” Watts, on the other hand, acts as cool and calm as you’d expect from one with such a mature mastery of his emotions.
