And I know Chris loves every game that has to do with cats, so I try not to disappoint.
I make sure to bring to his attention
when I see another one.
So today we are talking about Cat Vale, which is from...
I don't know.
Foo Dice? F-U Dice? I'm not sure.
Whoa,
Tim! This is a family podcast.
What? I'm
sorry, that's the name of the company.
They're Polish,
so it might translate differently.
It might be pronounced differently.
I'm sure that's it,
yeah.
Okay.
CatVale is a game for two to six players aged 12 and up.
90 to 180 minutes.
And the first thing that caught my eye when I was scrolling through the Kickstarter was the artwork.
It's got a beautiful watercolor kind of anime style art of anthropomorphic cats.
And by apparently a famous Polish watercolor artist, Isabella Berdowska.
So if nothing else, just scroll by the page and have a look at the art because I really think it is kind of neat.
Um, the second thing that jumped my attention is it looked like not a light game.
Uh, when I see cats, sometimes you think, ah, just to be another throwaway sort of thing, but this one actually has a lot of components, um, and seems to be actually a well-flashed out game, um, despite its cat theme.
