The Print and the Design categories both showed innovation and a high standard this year, says Abi Singmin, associate creative director, Denomination, Australia and jury president…
Tell us, Abby, a little bit about the jury experience.
I know you guys have been hard at work for the last two days.
We absolutely have, and incidentally, I think we were the, the last ones to finish [laughs] on Monday.
Um, I think we've got such a group that was so intent on giving each, each piece, um, a, a good discussion and a good conversation, and I think there were some really robust conversations about each piece of work.
Um, what I really actually valued was the, um, the kind of spread of judges and the fact that they're all from different countries, um, also different positions as well.
Some, some were creative, some were, um, creative writers, you know? But then we, we also had some client side, um, judges on, on our panel, which was great.
It just meant that there were some really healthy conversations and allowed us to see things from different perspectives, which I think was a good challenge when reviewing the work.
