The Next Generation's Case for Mississippi

What led y'all to pick the education? You kind of spoke to it, but I want to hear more about your decision making in terms of like staying in state versus going out of state.

And like whoever wants to take this, y'all feel free.

Well, the community really invested in me, you know, obviously a family friend, which that's that's how I came to know him as he was a good family friend and he invested in me.

So, you know, I kind of felt like, you know, I owe that to my community to to give back.

I'll say that everyone who I grew up around who was a Mississippi State fan was the most passionate Mississippi State fan.

They loved the school.

They loved Starkville.

And so it kind of was something I grew up just knowing I wanted to go there.

People loved it and only had great things to think about their time.

And then the first time I toured the campus, it's beautiful.

You know, they have beautiful flowers everywhere.

They take such great care of the campus.

And it just felt like a place I wanted to be.

And I really didn't ever consider going anywhere else.

Danielle? So I, of course, went to Northeast.

My principal at the time was Cooper Pope, and he was a Mississippi College graduate.

And so when it came time to look at schools, I considered Mississippi College.

And I also, just a side note, there was this program that used to be called Junior Miss.

Okay.

Now it's called Distinguished Young Woman.

But I met some girls that I ended up, I ended up rooming with one of them at Mississippi College.
