First thought I'll share is it reminds me of something I saw at the coffee shop, I wanna say maybe Wednesday or Thursday of last week.

There was a guy with a shirt on, and the shirt [laughs] said, "Life be lifin'." Right?

And that seems like it perfectly sums up what's going on with you and, and many of us-

But then I think also about goals, something we talk about all the time since we were teaching or whatever, it's important to set realistic goals, and sometimes I think setting those realistic goals, and this is a reminder to me as well, is that you need to account for life be lifin', right? [laughs] It's like-

when you set these goals that are so rigid, so tight, and dependent on everything going perfectly as planned, which they never do, it's tough, right? So that's the second thought.

And what that means, we talked about this last time, in fact I think that was like one of the titles of our last episode maybe is running our own race, is we define where the goal line is and we can move it forward and backwards, right? If we hit it early, great, but if we need to push it back a little bit, it's not like we're racing against someone else.

We're racing against our own desires and our own goals, not like we're trying to beat or catch some opportunity that's gonna, that's gonna go away from us, right? So if you gotta push it back because life be lifin', okay, maybe you don't hit that mark in November.
