I think it was pretty evident last season, halfway through in the Premier League, that we were lost.

I've been going down to Leicester City Football Club for maybe since I was seven.

And that team that we had in the Premier League, I haven't seen such...

I lost a bunch of people on a pitch than I've ever witnessed.

I left two games at 60 minutes, which I would never do.

And I'd never ask anyone to do.

But it was so painful to watch.

Even Van Nistelrooy looked like he didn't know what he was doing.

And it was just...

I couldn't deal with it.

And we were just like, we are in...

We're in a whirlpool, sliding down.

So I think if you're a Leicester fan and you've seen what's going on constantly, you'd be like, OK, I can see how this has happened.

But there's been a lot of bad management since the owners passed away.

Yeah.

It's a little bit kind of out of his depth.

And he's probably sided with the wrong people in the football club.

I hope that they fix it up.

And I want him to be, obviously, I want him to... be our leader if he has the credentials to do it or he learns from his mistakes but it's been quite hard to watch and quite sad but I think the reaction we have I don't think we're sad I think we're just like yeah we knew it was going to happen but the only thing I would say I'm looking forward to is the last time in League One I had the best time going to the best grounds the best pies the best beer all that kind of thing that I'm looking forward to a little bit this time again

I think, like, to caveat, to kind of wind it back a bit, we didn't get you on this podcast to gloat.

I think it's a really, the whole situation with Leicester is very, you know, is extremely interesting.

And I think what piqued me to get you on, you know, as well as you being a friend, it was the fact that it's such a, I read like an article on the BBC and it was something that I was just like, well, let's get, let's get a fan on and talk to them about their, you know, their story and their opinion on the thing.

Cause it's easy, it's easy to read a story and on the BBC and it'd be like in, um, of like uh solitary i i think it's better to speak to someone who's kind of been there through the because let's face it crazy highs there's no i think anyone anyone any football fan who watches this i mean like if if norwich had had won the premier league and had won the fa cup and then I don't know, Jez, would you say you take that? It's a weird, it must be a weird space you find yourself in, Ben.
