And, yeah, but to come back to 2022, at around that time, the topics of our conversation, they started to change and got a bit more deeper as we both got aware and conscious about things in our lives that we wanted to change.
We didn't get to the core root of what was going on yet.
It all started with questioning things.
And the first thing we thought we should do is to work on ourselves.
Self-healing, basically, to find answers for strong emotions, impulsive behavior, exhaustion, physical issues, and lots more.
And my questions came up due to my son's behavior and yours, I think, due to your physical health.
Yeah, so we worked on things like old belief systems, childhood, trauma-based topics.
And, yeah, Christina, so you may want to share about your journey a little bit, how things started to change for you.
Yeah, definitely, definitely.
So, yeah, 2018 to 2021 was a whirlwind.
Both my husband and I were working full-time.
The kids were starting school and working.
weekend commitments.
We were far too busy.
We were just existing and exhausted all the time and not really living.
And then in early 2021, my oldest started with seizures and my youngest experienced severe bullying at school.
Finally, my husband had a health scare and after worrying and caring for my family, my body finally gave in.
I hit complete burnout in July 2021, unable to work.
And this forced us to re-examine our lives and start prioritizing what was important to us rather than living by default.
We made the conscious decision to And we started making more conscious decisions.
And with that, we then started camping and spending more time together in nature.
We all connected and slowed down.
And eventually this led to us traveling around Australia in 2023 for six months in a caravan.
And this was one of the greatest decisions we've ever made.
And we did it on an absolute budget.
