We're the only country in the world that doesn't pay our Olympians, but we do

and as we just went through this with the college athletes and NCAA now I think it's time for Olympians to get paid with being the only country in the world that doesn't

yeah we're winning we're winning and then also there's a lot of mental health issues with Olympians because they dedicate their lives and every year you have the world championships and every fourth year it's just to the sport have like almost zero savings and then their time comes and it's gone and now they're thinking okay what now either another four years of my life to this or start again and there's a lot of mental health issues especially like when I was competing gold medalist Stephen Holcomb he died by suicide after he won gold because that was kind of that was it and we need to invest more into Olympic athletes and especially college athletes in that transition from sports to career

I think in general, like, the way we think about sports, you know, we think about it in this winning context, but there's thousands of athletes out there that,

winning, are winning, but don't know how to, what that value is and what the next step is once they, you know, are injured or, you know, don't make that next team or whatever that looks like.
