A-League Weekly: "Melbourne City might be the strongest team in the competition"

We'd like to start with three up front.

And as I say, there were some cracking goals that spoilt for choice this weekend.

Hard to go past this one, though, that came on Friday night.

Brisbane Raw, their first match of the season, and the Korean superstar hit this great strike.

Newark gets it under the left foot.

And take it.

How about that? What a way to introduce yourself to the Brisbane Royal faithful.

Niamh Tehei with a spectacular goal.

Interesting side, Brisbane, as well.

We'll get into the games a bit more in a minute, but what a good signing he's turned out to be.

And that was such a sweet strike he had.

Picked it up at the edge of the box, slammed it into the top corner, as you heard there on the commentary on Paramount.

Really top-quality finish.

Yeah, unbelievable, Ned.

Honestly, I saw him the first two times he got the ball in the game, and I thought...

Well, who is that guy? I don't know what their marketing team is doing, but I didn't even see that signing come up.

He's one of the biggest signings of the season, a Korean international.

And the first two or three times he got the ball, I was like, wow, this guy has a lot of quality.

And then not only just in play, linking up, and then he can actually finish like that as well.

Unbelievable.

Yeah, such a great strike.

We'll touch on Brisbane Raw a little bit later on as well.

Also worth talking about, another off-season signing.

Back again.

Last week, Momo Hayashi crashed in a free kick to win the match for Melbourne City.
