And then also going back to your reporting with football, I've seen that you did a kind of like story on whether you think Cal Poly is a football school now.

So do you? No.

No.

Wait, this is interesting.

Tell us the team.

Elaborate a lot.

Okay.

Well, so I wrote that story after their first game, the one that they won.

And I think like the main thing, like the Madden Center, the new coach, and like they broke like the record.

They set the record for most fans at a game at Spanos.

So we were like, okay, we should write this story.

But- And obviously I wanted to make it interesting.

So like I didn't write my conclusion until the end, which was no, like it's gonna take time to become a football school, but the Instagram posts, I don't think it included my actual answer.

So there's a bunch of people who are like, no, obviously not.

It's going to take years.

I'm just like, I know.

But I mean, I think the team itself, it's going in the right direction.

The new head coach, Tim Skipper, he seems to know what he's doing.

It has the players buy into the system.

the offense has looked a lot better than before.

Defense has had some struggles, but I think that the team's trending in the right direction, so I mean, I just hope they keep getting better.

Yeah, so what kind of I guess, aspects do you think go into becoming like a football school? Like what do you think have going for us or what do you think we need besides just more time and consistency?

Yeah.

So I mean, a big thing is like accessibility and awareness obviously of like the team and how it's doing um and also like the experience of the games which i think has been like improving with like the tailgates before the games and like all the fans being very into the game um so that's a big part of what goes into being a football school and also just i mean the biggest part is the team being good like It has to be something that people want to watch.

And the team was not like that before now.
