Mikey D'Amato

Huddy, shout out the Huddy fam.

Appreciate sitting by you guys over there in section B. Kenny Olsen and Mikey D'Amato kind of play a similar game to him.

Maybe a little bit more used to get after the quarterback.

Overall, they've got some scary stats.

And when you don't get sacked in the most important play of the game, it really helps when you hold it together.

And also, Cal Poly's defense is playing without Mikey D'Amato.

And they just held the number 16 team in the nation to 24 points.

So...

But now they got Kaleb Place running, uh, running circles around these quarterbacks, and now he's got four s- four sacks total.

Um, so yeah, uh, great job, Kaleb, this week, and hopefully we're gonna see more of that, uh, in the next coming weeks, especially with Mikey D'Amato being out.

Yeah.

Shout out Kaleb Place for stepping up with Mikey D'Amato being out.

Um, I know the defense wasn't Cal Poly's strong suit over the weekend, but having that pressure when you need it is arguably one of the most underrated aspects of football, in my opinion.

People don't give enough credit to the D-linemen for putting pressure on a quarterback in a, in tough games like those to kinda keep Cal Poly in the football game.

Yeah.

So I kn- the defense had a lot of trouble, and they-

So there was a lot of turnover with Tim Skipper, but, like...

A lot of the core players, I think, stayed the same, like Mikey D'Amato, Grigsby, Fidel Pitts.

A lot of the core players to the team did stay.

That's good.
