For the relaunch of my book on good authority, talked about this in previous episodes, I But if you're like most people, you hear something and five minutes later you forget it, so I'm not even going to worry that I've already talked to you about this.

Alex Strathdee, his book Beyond the Bestseller, his goal was to seed 1,000 copies into the marketplace.

He got the books to prospects, to people who knew prospects, to whomever he thought might be interested or might be able to pass it along to someone interested.

They started filling out the form on his company's website saying, hey, I've been following your strategies.

Is it possible to talk about working together? That is what happens when you seed your book into the marketplace.

who do I know who has communities made up of my ideal readers slash clients? And I reached out to them.

Now, I think a mistake a lot of people will make is they will think, well, I'm giving my book away.

Book of mine, like aren't kind of with the vibe of like, aren't you so lucky? I looked at it like my friends who have communities have put a lot of time, effort and money into gathering these communities.

So let me acknowledge this as the major favor they would be doing me and let me make it as appealing to them as it possibly could be.
