Glad I stayed off this game.
If you guys saw my tweet, you know, I said the Rams should win this game on paper, but I'm staying away due to the travel, due to the international.
I usually don't bet international games, guys.
There's just too much things to handicap when trying to bet international games, right? How are teams going to react to the travel? How are teams going to sleep out there? How are they going to react to the climate, the new country, the time change, and everything? Too much uncertainty around travel, and I usually stay away from those games.
Let's talk to travel because I do believe it was a factor.
I can't be a hundred percent sure.
Of course, uh, it could be different for each player, right? It would affect some players.
It would suck, but it looked like it affect most of the team guys.
They didn't look like they came out.
They look sluggish, but listen to this, listen to their, their, their decision that they made, right? The Rams practice on Tuesday morning in LA left for Australia on Tuesday night and Wednesday, full travel day, pretty much, right? It's like 16 hours to get there.
So they landed in Melbourne.
Remember the time difference? They landed in Melbourne Thursday morning, Aussie time, right? And then the kickoff was 10.30 a.m.
Friday.
So remember, the time is a lot different, right? So...
Kickoff was actually Friday.
We were watching it Thursday night.
49ers went out almost a week ahead of the schedule.
Get used to the climate, get used to the, they probably went on the field multiple times.
I don't know if they were allowed to practice, maybe not, but whatever the case may be, they got used to the time, the sleeping patterns, et cetera.
Sean McVay, listen to this, sent out 15 staff members to Australia and Within the last two years.
It wasn't like, oh, he sent them out like a month ago.
Within the last two years, apparently.
And they came to the conclusion to leave the day before.
Fire those people, right? Fire those people immediately.
