Since its beginning in 1976, the Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival has been a gathering place in celebration of all things mountain culture.

The yearly festival, hosted in Banff, fosters an appreciation of the world's mountain places by creating opportunities for people to share and find inspiration in mountain experiences, ideas, and visions.

Over the years, we've spoken to hundreds of incredible adventurers who shared their spectacular and moving stories.

My name is Lana Hedinga, Festival Manager, and I've been searching through our festival archives to relive some of our favourite presentations from the past.
