I think that collecting art is what sets apart the sophisticate and the aesthete from the just simple peasant, if you will.

I think that when you look at Maslow's hierarchy, the pyramid, if you will, with all the needs, art is something that feels like it is very, uh, un- unneeded, something that's kind of optional.

But at the same time, I think if you want to look cultured, if you want to give off the impression that you live a rich life, you cannot do so without art.
