For almost a decade, this podcast has been a place where we've talked about relationships.

I-- Prior to relationships, I was talking about burnout and eating disorder and emotional eating and different modalities and ways to look at depression and anxiety and all of those things.

Then I evolved it into narcissistic abuse specifically, and I did that for about six years.

I specifically talked here on the show and coached women on being aware of seeing the signs and then changing their part in the patterns within those relationships.

And I've talked about emotional addiction, boundaries, healing, dating, leaving, staying, and breaking those patterns.

I don't have any desire to talk about narcissism, narcissistic abuse, or any of that stuff s-specifically.

But what it does do is shine a light in a different direction that I believe we need to go.

This isn't for everyone because it's not for the women that are like, "Oh, let's-- So we're not putting the onus on men.

Oh, you're victim-blaming." I've heard all of that, and I'm, I know if you're here, you don't subscribe to those victim consciousness ways of seeing things.

When you're constantly pointing the finger outward, just like they do, you don't evolve.

You don't get to look where you have some of those traits within yourself or where you are behaving in similar ways.

You're just not seeing it because you haven't looked at your own shadow to see where you behave in the same ways.

I've come to see that the relationships we have with men primarily is often most times not the whole story.

And what it really is is a mirror for the level of self-love, self-respect, self-honor, self-value, self-trust, all aspects of self.

Because if I am allowing a man to mistreat me and treat me like shit and disrespect me and not put my needs on, you know, the top of his to-do list as well, then where am I not loving of myself because I'm allowing that? If you are allowing disrespect, you're not respecting yourself.

If you're allowing low effort and f- wishy-washy, hot-cold behavior, then you are not putting enough effort within yourself, and you're being wishy-washy with your own self.

We look at the mirror, and we say, "Where do I need to evolve? Where do I need to heal? Where do I need to grow? Where do I just need to feel what I fucking feel and feel my feelings and allow myself to feel angry and bitter and rageful at the ways that I've been treated and allow myself to tap into that anger?" Because that anger can be fuel for setting those boundaries and limits or walking away when it's time to do so.

I have been able to help so many women over the years understand narcissism and narcissistic abuse in new ways that they weren't able to get to through various different modalities, therapies, and all of those things.
