Shortcut to the top, WXW's annual rumbles show and yeah, I mean, this was the first one they had.
I think they said it ended up with what, um, was it nine hun- They said it was gonna be about 930 they could have had tickets avail- for.
Um, the bu- the busiest crowd they've had for not a coward show ever at the Turbine Hall, which, you know, it's definitely some going.
And first show, the first match we had on the main show, uh, just a small match with Lia Bloom against Uhua for the Unified World Wrestling title.
Yeah, uh, opened it, but I think that was the, that was the match I think probably people were most excited for as well, wasn't it?
Um, it was the one that, um, and, uh, especially as, hey, it's a launch on a new, a, a new network, should we say.
Um, it's a good, good idea to maybe just get people in with the thing they wanna see straight away, 'cause it's, uh, you know, they, they, they, they, the, you only get your, uh, the first impression, uh, once, if you know what I mean.
And I think as well, like, you know, we'll, again, we'll touch on this, there's been a lot of stuff dropped on MyAW, but not a lot of Uhua-Bloom stuff, so this has been the match where you've heard word of mouth, and this is the one where if you're new, we didn't give, unless you, you know, went on WXW Now and bought and looked through back catalog, this was the match you, you know, you've heard the talk, now you're seeing it for yourself.
And I would say this was just a hair underneath, uh, Connix and Katja final last year.
They, they did a lot of the same kind of stuff, like was a wild sprint to start.
But like these two, I don't say like, you know, generational rivalry, because I think this is one where you don't wanna keep going back to the well.
