In fact, in 2010, 100 million seeds were piled in the Turbine Hall of the Tate Modern in London.

Initially, visitors were able to play in the seed pit, and certainly pocketed pieces of porcelain.

However, it was soon discovered that interacting with the seeds created a dust that could be dangerous to inhale, and the installation was roped off.
