And just look at the kind of state of the world right now, the geopolitics of it.

So, and then looking back, like Australia is relatively a pretty wealthy country, like demographically speaking, and also where we're located in the world.

And that tends to make Australian businesses a bigger target for cyber criminals.

So the numbers don't lie and they're increasing quarter on quarter, the number of businesses that are being hit by cyber attack.

no but you know that's the thing these security vulnerabilities don't need to be super sophisticated so we see in the news all the time sophisticated hackers have have attacked optus and you know medibank has suffered a sophisticated you know cyber attack and like most of the time if you really look under the hood and i'm not using those not not those two as an example but having worked on basically thousands of different cyber attacks in australia um most of the time it's actually like extremely stupid how hackers were able to get access to that data um or probably a better term to say is like it was actually really easy it was really really easy for them to do that so these security vulnerabilities don't necessarily mean like it's really really complicated sometimes like it's even a guest password um no multi-factor authentication or something um and then boom like they're in
