Louis wants to know if Roof Max extends the life of a composition tile roof.

There's a lot of coatings out there right now being advertised.

It's not the first time.

This happens about every [laughs] 25 years or 20 years maybe.

They try to let people to forget, and then they come out with the same thing again.

Uh, and it happens in all parts of, of, of, uh, our society when it comes to being a consumer.

That's why we have to be careful.

But as far as that goes, I- would it extend it a day, an hour, a minute? I don't know.

Nobody can really tell you that.

Is it something I would tell you to spend thousands of dollars on if you need a new roof to tr- because you, you think you can't afford a new roof, so you put this on instead? It is not an option for that at all because that three, four, five, $6,000 should go to the new roof that you need, not to something that's not a f- it's, it's a luck of the draw at best.

So it's a gamble, and it'll, probably you won't hear much about it in about two years or one year, whatever it takes.

Uh, but it just, these things come and go, and you gotta be really careful.

If it hasn't been on roofs for 25 years, it hasn't extended the life of a roof five years, 10 years.

They say up to 15, but what does that mean? That means nothing when they say up to 15 on a TV commercial.

Uh, there's no way to prove it.

There's no way to figure it out, and so there's no test of time.

There's no real studies done on it, so be careful.

Up to 15 years could mean is-
