In this episode of the Armed & Anointed podcast, Ashley discusses the story of Jericho and how faith, obedience, and endurance help us trust God through seasons of waiting. She shares personal lessons…
Is this a word for me or for them?" Because I have needed endurance every step of the way, every step of the way.
Um, it's a really popular, like, you know, in Sunday school, the walls of Jericho.
There's no victory without needing endurance, without character growth, without obedience, without a process that grows your faith.
And sometimes we wanna skip out on the process because the pro- like, we're tired.
There have been so many times where I have, like, crawled on my knees to God and been like, "Lord, I am tired.
I don't know how much longer I can do this." And it's always in those moments that I'm reminded that it really isn't by my strength, and God's gonna be the one who leads the way of this.
And when I find myself in those moments of like, "Oh, dang, I'm back doing this in my own strength," which I do and have done recently, I have to come back to Him and be like, "No, back on the path.
Back on the path where God's leading and not me." So I'm actually gonna read a bit of scripture today.
I'm gonna read in Joshua so that we have the whole story, and then I'm gonna get into it and break it down a bit.
And I really hope that this hits your heart if you are feeling weary in your walk right now, if you are feeling like, "I don't know how much longer I can go on." This one's gonna be for you.
