Red Sea Review with Tyler Drake

Five explosive plays given up by the defense.

The third and 20 that went for 40 yards was just a backbreaker.

But, uh, Neighbors was killing them on those big plays.

We had LaFleur on yesterday, and you could just tell, you know, not very happy with the, with what's happening there.

This defense now, uh, with all the 30-point games that they've given up, with the struggles with the big pass play, could any changes be coming with this defense in the next few weeks?

Yeah.

I, I absolutely think so, especially if these 30-point games keep coming.

I, I think it's only a matter of time.

I mean, they just continue to come.

And it's, it's, you know, Garrett Williams was talking to us yesterday a little bit about, you know, how it's not just one thing, it's not just the defense, it's a...

But no, at the end of the day, it's the defense is giving up points a- on the regular.

And it's not those close losses that we saw last year.

It's, it's a lot of points getting put on the board, and you just can't have that.

And so, uh, I think, yeah, in the next couple of weeks, like, th- we very much could be seeing a change at defensive coordinator.

I don't know from a personnel standpoint you can really move around guys very much, because you're seeing Darius Robin- Robinson pop a little bit, Walter Nolan's popping a little bit.

But then, yeah, you've got to really work through not having Will Johnson.

Garrett Williams, he's still working his way back and fully playing.

Uh, but all in all, it falls on the defensive coordinator.

He's one of the holdovers.

And when it comes down to it, when they have to make a change, he's gonna be one of the first names they m- they, uh, move out of the building for sure.
