Blind Justice

We're on to Nitzavim Vayelech, but I'm still thinking about Parashat Ki Tavo we read on Shabbat morning.

And you recall in Parashat Ki Tavo we read about a ceremony that would be conducted by the Israelites once they entered into Canaan.

And you have to imagine a valley surrounded by two hilltops, two mountains, and and Bnei Yisrael were divided into two sections, six tribes on one hillside, six tribes on the other hillside, with the Leviim standing in the valley.

And the Leviim went through the curses and the blessings that the people would either enjoy or have to suffer, depending on whether they abided by the law or not.
