Well, it's paying attention to present moment experience with kindness and curiosity.

You don't want to be mindful like an inspector, like a police, you know, noticing everything.

Gee, honey, what's going on with you right now? Just like you would to a child or a friend.

And you find out, like if you have children, you'll find out that if you ask questions in a kind way, you're going to get a lot more information.

In the same way with ourselves, we can learn more when we create that openness to, with kind curiosity instead of, you know, right, wrong, commanding, demanding.
Of course, you're going to get more information when you're kind, but we don't always think that way about ourselves.
