And it didn't look great at the start, but the Bulls still finding ways to win games.

It is Coach Brian Hartline's 4-0 start that is the second best ever for a first-year USF coach behind only Charlie Strong that started 7-0 back in 2017.

And there are parallels between that team and this team just taking care of business.
well i think the thing that stands out for me about south florida is their defense right allowing only six points to that team now i know bowling green came into the matchup struggling but the bulls defense has been consistent and i think that's what's kept them in game so far they have that conference win against army and that for me showed me all right they can win some football games a gritty play at the end of the game to win the big question mark that i think a lot of people are talking about is the offense will this south florida offense be able to generate what they need to against some of those powerful offenses in the american i think michael van buren is great under pressure but can they step up and they have a big test against temple this week

yeah i mean they rank 113th nationally in passing offense but an offense's best friend is a stout defense and before saturday they led the american in third down defense they had 11 tackles for loss against bowling green And Bowling Green is a team that doesn't drop back and throw it a ton.

So the fact that they were that disruptive in the backfield against a run-heavy offense says a lot about the push they were getting up front.

Four games into the season, when you look at their schedule, Bowling Green, Army, FIU, all teams that want to control the clock.
