So can you take me back to the origin of it? You know, basically, when did Mary Lindsay ask you to do this?

Well, I think we were all in the same boat, right? I think this collaboration really started from a shared feeling in the field that endothelial function had become incredibly, incredibly powerful.

But at the same time, incredible variable, right? We all realize that if you wanted the science to move forward in the way we can reproduce it, we need some more clear guidance or some level of standardization.

About this work, when we finalized our previous guideline paper that was on vascular function, which I think was received well by the community.

If I'm not wrong, had more than 30,000, 40,000 downloads and people are still writing.

So after that, Mary basically said, hey, Camila, can you have this next one? And I said, really? How can I say no to Mary? I know it will be a huge work, a lot of things, a huge effort, but I couldn't say no to Mary.

And what was amazing is that this entire collaboration here was mostly virtual.

I actually don't collaborate with the authors here, but it's never felt distance, right? Our fields are super small.
