Katie LongHost
Mike WoodhamsHostShall we introduce the film? Yeah.

This week's film is Winnie the Pooh Blood and Honey, a 2023 British independent slasher film produced, directed, written, edited by Rhys Frake Waterfield.

It is a horror interpretation of A.A. Milne and E.H. Shepard's Winnie the Pooh books and stars Nikolai Leon as Christopher Robin, Maria Taylor, Craig David Dowsett as Winnie the Pooh and Chris Cordell as Piglet.

so we start with an animation okay and it's um the winnie the pooh characters as you know them kind of

yeah they're introduced as like a crossbreed and they're friends with christopher robin who abandons them to go to college the film then follows poo and piglet who have become feral murderers they terrorize a group of young university women and christopher robin when he returns to the hundred acre wood five years after leaving college

perfect so i guess the question on a lot of people's lips how is this film allowed to exist i'm just going to start off by saying there is something about this film that i loved I was so into it.

People can now use the characters of Winnie the Pooh, whatever, whatever, whatever, and to some degree how they look in the books...
