it's worth it.

I ran into the owner, and he luckily had one of the vinyls left at Midsummer Scream, so I ended up picking that up, and then I picked up a copy on cassette for myself and one for my nephew.

And I asked my nephew, I'm like, do you have a Walkman or anything like a tape player? He's like, no.

I'm like, oh, well, you're going to need to find one.

But this room has started moving.

so he's sort of like Randy from Scream.

Yeah.

But I do think that the subgenre exists as an umbrella term for these horror films that all had very similar tropes that were popping up.

also in Taiwan, and especially Indonesia, which I hope to cover one day in the future, the Indonesian black magic Scream Queen Susanna's films, like The Queen of Black Magic and Sentet, but I digress.

I like to say that black magic films are a mix of supernatural horror, folk horror, and body horror to best describe them.

They feature genre tropes of the use of curses and spells, rituals, evil wizards and Taoist priests battling, blood and gore, surrealism, themes about ruralness versus urbanization, and animal violence or using bugs or just about anything gross or taboo to get the audience in seats.

That's right.

He was also in the first three Scream movies.

I do go back and watch the original Scream movies.

I watched the bad one too.

I think it's three or four.

It's the one that they never have a DVD of.

And like, they try to act like it doesn't exist.

They sell the rights to all the other streamers for, for the Scream movies.

But for whatever reason, I think it's Scream four.

Many people knew her from Nashville.

Others knew her from her work in movies, including the Scream franchise.

She had been working in entertainment since she was a child.

She was beautiful.
