An oral history of Burning Mort

All right, ladies and gentlemen, this is Dane DeCray continuing to fill in for Tyler Axness on Afternoons Live.

We just spoke to Amber Gustafson.

She is running for the Clay County attorney.

And we are now going to change to a far more serious note.

I have two friends of mine, one I know better, one I know of.

Neil Raesler and Joey Schmidt.

And we are going to be talking about, I don't even really know.

It is called Burning Mort.

And for those who don't know, it is this thing that these gentlemen have created out in Leonard, North Dakota.

And I think it's best for us to almost just create an oral history of what this thing is, because I've heard about it.

Neil and I go way back.

And he's mentioned Burning Mort many times, but I never really understood what it was.

And I wasn't a Tecmo Nintendo guy, and so it just kind of passed over me.

But recently, a guy on YouTube came out and experienced Burning Mort, and he created a video, and they're having their viral moment.

It's got hundreds of thousands of views.

It's incredible.

I would encourage everybody to go watch it.

I watched it before today.

It's a lot of lead-in, boys, but let's start talking about what the heck Burning Mort is.
