She was 31 years old, a mother of two, and critically ill with advanced cervical cancer.
The doctors and nurses who gathered around her were trying to save her life.
But within minutes, something inside that emergency room began to go terribly wrong.
Staff noticed an unusual smell, a strange sheen on her skin, and something odd about her blood.
Then one by one, the people treating Gloria began to fall sick themselves.
By the end of the night, Gloria was dead.
The emergency room had been evacuated, and investigators were left with a question that still has no answers everyone accepts.
