It’s back to the drawing board for the UVA Football program, which had its major flaw, at QB, exposed in its 38-27 loss to West Virginia in Week 3. Another flaw – defensive coordinator John Rudzinski…
Then one is more clinical and analytical, um, with numbers, let's just say, uh, trying to figure out what happened with the offense.
I mean, both sides, the offense and defense, um, I mean, obviously when you lose 38, 27, uh, you know, both, both sides aren't playing well.
Six points of that was garbage time TD, literally like 20-some seconds to go or something like that.
And 14 points in the first quarter, and then just the one non-garbage time touchdown in between.
Most of you watching this, if not all of you watching this, didn't go looking at the empty seats in the crowd from the TV shop.
Uh, you make sure to shoot cameras in a direction so that you want to show that there are so many empty seats for this game.
So, um, depending on when you watch this, uh, it may already be up, but, um, about the reason this game and the 2022-2032 game on the schedule are being played in Charlotte is because Charlotte's paying a lot of money to the two programs, UVA and West Virginia, to play these games.
I haven't gone back and done the research to a story that I wrote myself when these games were announced.
But memory serves that they were guaranteed, the two programs were guaranteed a floor of $2 million, right? And it'd be like 3.3 or something if the game sold out.
They got to worry about coming up with $4 million to pay these teams out of what looked like nobody there.
