Episode 164 - Season Finale

And as always, welcome to Hot Chat, for the last time in 2026.

Well, at least as part of the regular season.

You are here, of course, with me and two of your favorite Hot Chatters, here to review not only round 24, but review the entirety of the 2026 season.

And what a season it has been.

DC, it is an interesting way to finish the year.

Uh, the listeners that are playing along at home still at this point in the year might already know the way that we finished, but, uh, are you gonna spoil it already? How did you go in round 24 and did you hold on, is what everyone is wondering at home.

Yeah, held on to the top 4,000.

Uh, comfortably beat Nathan.

Um, and that-

[laughs]

... that's all anyone really cares about.

So yeah, worst year I've had since 2019, um, unfortunately, but considering that's still inside 4K, it's not, not too bad.

But, um, not, not my favorite year of fantasy, that's for sure.

Yeah, I think that makes two of us.

I, I can't, um, I can't see a time that I finished outside of 5K since 2020.

But Nathan, how about you? I mean, DC's saying you were convincingly beaten, so not a great year from the Over Marlets overall.

Is that the, uh, decision there?
