All right, welcome everyone to the 2026 Fall Writing Planning Workshop.

So glad you're here.

Thanks everybody who told me where you're connecting from in the chat.

We are going to get started.

We've got lots of people rolling into the room.

If you're new to me, I'm going to introduce myself in a second.

But as we kind of start the show here, make sure that you have a pen and paper or a doc or something, someplace where you can take notes if you need them.

Just so you know, I don't actually share my slides, although I will share a recording of this workshop.

So you can take notes.

I also have a handout that I dropped in the chat and that came to your email.

If you have questions during our time together, please use the Q&A box.

We now have over 100 people in the room.
